Scarlet Badis
Been drowling over these little beauties on aquabid and now they are here!
Bayfish have them
Not really a dwarf cichlid....but they are dwarf...30mm max and mine look just as good as the photo and they are only 15mm long!

I got them at Exotic fish Connections...Rocklea
They had just arrived and the owner was upset because he was told they were 20mm long but they were only 15. He suggested I let them settle and come back in a couple of days....but I wasn't leaving his shop without a pair in a bag!!!
He got them from bayfish so most shops should be able to order them in!
Think I might set up a little heavily planted cube...just for them!

Stunning colour - are they naturally like this??
$30 for a 1.5cm isn't that bad really - we paid lots more for our addictions.....

Kevkoi informed me that these fish are cave spawners....but the build a bubble nest (like bettas) in the roof of the cave to spawn in!
My male isn't quite as colourful as the photo....yet!
Christmas has come early for me!
