    SAE and discus poo

As i type this, I am looking at the SAE's around my tank feasting on discus poo. For some reason they go around chewing up the discus poo which is why i can never see the actual discus poo in the morning, it kinda gets ground up and spat back out... Has anyone else had an experiences with SAE which poke around at discus poo? I keep a barebottom tank.

    Any info would be great!

    Thanx

Yep they will attempt to eat anything if hungry enough, they are continuous grazers and in a bare bottom tank they likely dont get much other variety of food, supplement their diet with plenty of greens ideally or illness may set in.
