update on slime degredation

Hey all,

ok tried adding salt to the tank and nothing, the slime coat is still degrading and i have noticed one of the fishies pec fins isn't being used, fins clamped so i know something is wrong

all of the others are ok, water parameters are within normal ranges, does anyone know another treatment or should i just poor in 1kg of salt or something into the tank (its a 6x2x2) and then a little while later seriously drain and change what water i can

thought it might stress the little fella if i chased him around the tank with the net and then transfer into a brand new tank (not yet fully cycled) can change water heaps no probs, my qt tank currently has other discus in it, new arrivals so i don't want to add him in with them

nevermind, hit the tank with a little meth blue and the fish seems to have improved 110%. still dunno what it was, maybe something that came in with the live food i have been giving them.
