Aquatic lawn
Hello,
Just a quick question as to what people would recommend i plant in my 4X2X2 planted tank to achive a nice "aquatic lawn" effect?
Any suggestions would be appreciated..

Glosso or riccia.
You need high light to achieve a good looking carpet.

how can u achive a lawn if u have a bb tank is there a way to do this

you can't
the moment you start the lawn by adding a substrate your tank is no longer "bare bottom"

I wonder.
If you attached riccia to some sort of sinking (weighted) mesh, maybe you could achieve a kind of lawn effect since riccia doesn't require a substrate, just something to attach to.
Then the riccia 'mat' could be removed to facilitate cleaning.

Glosso looks great. Needs a pretty intense light though (or so I've heard, don't really know) so that it doesn't start stretching up to the surface.

Then it won't be a BB tank.
I prefer glosso for carpeting looks excellent, riccia i love for the pearling.
