    rain water question

when using rain water for your tanks, do you need to add any trace elements for the fish? or is it fine as is?
Sorry if this is a stupid question

I use a about 90% rainwater and 10% tap water. I use Seachem Discus Trace. There are plenty of products that are designed for use with RO water. Any of them will suit your needs.
    I don't get drunk I get AWESOME!!!

ok thanks. ive never used seachem replenish b4, i googled it and it raises the gh and kh is that right? does that change the ph at all? sorry for the questions
my rainwater ph is 6, kh 2 and gh 35, should i try to raise the hardness then? or leave it alone. id prefer to leave it alone in case it all goes haywire on me.
    Any suggestions?

35 hardness is very high unless you're looking at african cichlids

hardness is kH NOT gH as mentioned, a gH of 35ppm is ~ ro water.

sydney tap water has a pH of 7.6, kH 6~7 and a gH of over 140ppm, this is still concidered soft for africans your after a kH of 10-13 degrees and gH over 1000ppm
