How easy/difficult is it to post live fish interstate?
Hi
I am just wondering if posting fish interstate is as difficult as it seems.
As some of you may be aware, I am trying to sell all my angels and kribs that i have bred as the maintanence of looking after them all is taking up too much time.
I have generated some interest from interstate buyers, but my problem is that i have never sent anything live in the post, so i dont know whether it is safe or not, and not really willing to risk it.
However, i have noticed a lot of private individual breeders are willing to ship - leading me to wonder whether it really is all that difficult.
Could you please lend me some tips in the process involved, whether it is worth it or not.
Thanks heaps

Give Ausralian Air Express a call at Sydney airport, they'll tell you everything you need to know about shipping and prices but I'd advise going to a good Aquarium shop and asking them how to package correctly. Having a good courier is useless if your fish die as a result of poor packaging on your part.
Good luck.
