Peat Moss??
Hi
Just wondering if anyone can direct me to some peat moss. I want it to decrease my Ph and to creat a breeding medium.
Cheers

Canadian sphagnum or German sphagnum peat is what I heard people use. you have to watch out because some peats have chemicals added to them.
It's a bit overrated with decreasing PH especially if your KH is high from the tap. Use HCL or commercial PH down if you like, that might be more effective.

hi - you can buy some "pure canadian sphagnum pear moss" from this company. comes in large 235 litre bales - they will deliver to your home.

How is your use of this peat going? Any pointers as I am thinking about getting it myself.

I have to admit, I am not a fan of the bottled stuff. I've never been keen on the bottled extracts over something that goes into my filter canister for several months at a time, over a bottle that I always seem to use up far quicker.
