Melbourne Fish Auction -VCS Auction

Just a heads up to people looking for fishie bargains. VCS is holding the latter of our bi-annual fish auction. It is open to the public, so anyone can buy or sell.

We do get discus coming through, and I have heard of a large colony of altums getting sold. Although it could have been another fabrication of mine to make some lady's heart skip a beat. lol.

Anyway, if you're in Melbourne in Oct, come down. The hotdogs awesome and always run out.

The Victorian Cichlid Society auction is on Saturday, 4th October.

The next Fish & Aquarium Accessories Auction
will be held
at the Mitcham Scout Hall, Brunswick Road, Mitcham
The hall will be opened at NOON for reception of goods and fish.
The auction will commence at 1 pm.

Anyone can buy or sell. It is a public auction.

Talking about Altums, I went to Ravi's store and he has some young altums on display. I have to say, absolutely stunning fish and no mistaking them for anything other than altums. Makes me want to rush out and get a 10x4x4 tank and buy 20 of them for home.
