BarryN, that looks like a blue diamond to me, not a cobalt.

He's a cobalt...got him in a breeding tank with a blue diamond at the moment. They are poles apart. The cobalt colouration is completely different (orignal photo did not show the red in the fins at all...), stress bars now look superb. He's bust fertilising eggs as we speak.

lol I had a blonde moment. Gotta remember to stay away from the forums on the drink... hahahahaha.
Blue diamonds are essentially cobalts without the stress bars. The original cobalts are solid blue, looking pretty much like a blue diamond.

Haha.
Nice fish Barry, upon closer look I see it has at least one stress bar I can see. Nicest fish of the lot on this thread for sure. Good luck with the breeding.

Heard that Cobalts are hard to maintain, specially on the color issue.. is that true ?
