We should all be blessed with such 'miserable' discus. Beautiful tank. Do you use bio filtration or rely on large daily water changes, as they do at the breeding facilities?
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

Thanks for the compliment on my 'miserable tank'.
I used a canister (5 stacks biomediums) via a UV Filter. Water changes: I do that every 3 days, 25% change)Those discus are 'test fish', I'm a newbie at this, despite of having about 25 japanese koi in my pond for 5 yrs already and growing steadily without any hicups.
This is my first attempt on discus. I've just made my first beefheart this morning and served it as their lunch. My gosh! they really went for it... 50g done in 10 minutes! I guess those tetrabits feed were not to their likings!

I had a few mishaps in keeping this delicate fish . 2 got sick and through my learnings from this forum and also the one at home (myfish.info), I managed to deworm those poor little fellows.

I hope members here, would give a helping helping hand here.
