    Long nose whiptails

A couple pics of my long nose whiptails.

I call them them the "poor mans royal whiptails"!

    hi mate
    nice photos you have
i've thought of keeping these cats but have been told they are really touchy and difficult to keep.
is this correct with your experiences?

    cheers

    Thanks Mate.

I have never had any losses. They are very easy to feed but need a very good and stable water quality. Water changing twice weekly is a must.

With most catfish they like a high dissolved oxygen content...I just have extra air stones in the tank.

It's always darkest before dawn ... so if you're going to steal some rocks
from your neighbours garden for your display tank, that's the time to do it.
