Bought this fish as a royal whiptail, got 3 actually...
Been checking out on the net to comfirm that it is a royal, still not sure though....
Its only bout 45mm....

bit blurry and small, but judging by the general shape and markings it looks like a royal to me ... Ben's the expert though

A Sturisoma species for sure but which one we will not know until he or she grow's up more.

Were these purchased off Jeff (cichidkeeper)? If so, I believe they are S. aureum. I have a few pics of one a little larger 6-7cm.

Not sure who they came from, my mate who owns the lfs said he had someone local breeding them. Will ask names today.
From looking at catfish planet i have got it picked for S. Festivum, are these even in Aus?
