    Adult Discus Head Standing

My discus are head standing, tail up in the air trying to swim down all the time. Looks like they are struggling to stay horrizontal. has anyone had this before?

    Cheers

    head standing discus

    hi
he may have knocked himself bruising in fishes swim bladder
which is the bouyancy system is not uncommmon
another possiblility is a swim bladder infection
    check all the water perameters
if they are fine maybe put some epsom salts at a rate of 1 level teaspoon per 40litres
see how you go something a little stronger may be needed if he doeant improve
    cheers

Well the epson salts have made no difference. You suggested something stronger, any idea what that would be besides the freezer. Everything I have read about headstanding is not very promising.

    Cheers
