    Large Golden Pigeon Blood

Here's the other large Golden Pigeon Blood I got off the same breeder as my golden pair. It's around 13cm SL.

Update: Unfortunately this discus died, probably as a result of stress, a couple of days after taking this pic.

Nice looking fish - all three. Nice looking tank too. How about a wide shot of that tank with the single fish. Is that some kind of wood - looks interesting.
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

I updated my 5x2x2 pics here (last post).

They do have some peppering, which I personally dislike, but the price was ok and I'd been thinking about getting some Golden pigeons for a while.

The "stump" you can see is actually a piece from the "Aquarium Art" collection - "Medium Jetty Post". It's a handmade fired clay piece about 28cm high. It's got a hole in the top (which I'm trying to grow a brown crypt in - without much success) and a wide slit on either side (which some of my smaller Blue Diamonds use as a shortcut, or even as a hiding spot).

I've also got a couple of large "bristlenose logs" from the same collection. They are like a hollow log but only one end is open.

hehe, in SA we'd call that a red dragon, funny how alot of fish have more than one name. They are very nice fish though .
