CO2 need some help guys

hey,
with my 3ft planted tank i need
some advice with co2, im saving for the pressurized for
my 6ft tank and wanted to try the "REFILL Dupla CO2 Set Omega or other brands you know the 1month type refill bottle types"

i dont really mind paying instead of doing a DIY job,im a bit of a kook when it comes to DIY stuff lol.

do these work well?
can anyone suggest one they use?
do they affect ph levels?

You can buy a CO2 setups complete from around $850 -$2000 plus depends on how hitech you want to go.
I made some of the parts myself and hire a D size CO2 bottle it usually lasts about 12 months untill refill. No 1 pic Diffuser ,No2 Pic BOC CO2 setup with bubble counter ( vegemite jar ) No3 Pic Regulator with bubble counter and CO2 controller magnetic valve. Its upside down as it would not fit on the bottle as the plastic handle was in the way.

I have 2-3 of the Natural Plant System setups by hagen, and they only really work in tanks less than 50-60 litres...

Once setup, you cant turn them off, other than removing them and causing instability in teh aquarium

Hey Rory,

Just to be safe you can set a timer to activate an airstone when the lights go off at night.

And then to switch off when the lights come on in the morning.

Thus you will drive off Co2 at night when not needed. ( and avoid any potential PH swings )

This may not be necessary but it's a good safe guard, and you can rest easy that way.

Plenty of other methods could be employed but this is the simplist IMO.

No3 Pic Regulator with bubble counter and CO2 controller magnetic valve. Its upside down as it would not fit on the bottle as the plastic handle was in the way.

mine fits the right way up with the handle on "just" it's a bit fiddly to do up, but it does fit with a little room to spare...

what would the best thing to do?
could you have 2 in the one tank.
my 3ft tank is 160ltrs.
