In honour of the great contribution Ladyred (Merrilyn) has provided this community with over the years I ask in this time of her loss for us to give something back.

The sudden loss of any family member is tragic, and there are organisations out there that strive to find cures, treatments and preventative measures in regards to heart disease.

What is being proposed is a combined donation to be made to the Baker Heart Research Institute on behalf of Merrilyn.

Now in its 80th year, the Baker Heart Research Institute is Australia’s most distinguished cardiovascular research centre and one of the world’s leading organisations investigating the causes and complications, treatment and prevention of heart, stroke and vascular disease.

My feelings exactly... given the amount of assistance Merrilyn provides to members here both on the forums, via Private Messenging & e-mail as well as on the phone I honestly feel we can do a little better than what has been contributed so far. $5, $10, $25 it all matters, don't be put off by the amounts others have pledged, we have done that due to how close Merrilyn is to us, as well as the funds are going to a great and worthy cause...
