    Cleaning a planted tank...

    if you're using something like peat or fine sand as a substrate, how do you clean your tanks... my "Gravel Vacuum" would probably just suck up the sand/peat.

    Practice makes perfect - it's not hard - just don't bury your Vacuum in the base - Just gently "hoover" - Easy Peasy Japanesy!!

    they are called corys and bristlenose, they do the job for me

    Forgot to add them - you're right Aussiestar- those little fellers do a fantastic job of celaning up and turning over the gravel ,
