    Sexing Geophagus Altifrons

    Hi All,

I currently have 4 geophagus altifrons "Aruipuana" which I purchase from SLS about 12 months ago. They are currently about 20cms in length.

Is there any way of telling the differences between males and females. I've tried looking at finnages, head shapes and even looking at the vents. They all look the same to me. Have a feeling I've got a bunch of males coz' their finnages are extremely long.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards

    Jeffrey
