Please give advice on Aqua-One CF 1200 cannister filter

    Hey, guys:

Does any one use the Aqua-one CF1200 cannister filter here?

Is it quite? Last time when i was in a LFS the aqua-one seems to be a bit noisy. But the staff reckons it was only the air bubbles.

I have always been using eheim. but they are pricy....so just want to try some new stuff out...

I am thinking about buy the filter but fill it with JBL bio ring or Sera sinporax....it has 7.5 L capacity...i think is huge...

    Please give some advice!!

I have 4 running, all silent (1 has been in use for over 2 years).

Mind you I have replaced all the media and used products like Micromec, Matrix, etc etc

    thanx guys:

    Very valuable comments.

Once it comes to the filter media: which one do you rate the best.

I have seen the JBL miromec, Sera synporex, Seachem matrix, and off course Eheim ones....

Which one do you rate the best?

I have seen some german hobby using the Sera Synporex....

    What do you think?
