Show me yours and I'll show mine

Just interested in what kind of setups my fellow dwarf lovers have. What size tank, filtration, species etc.

Show off your pride and joy!

Re: Show me yours and I'll show mine

Actually Rob, I'm soon to start stripping my down as I'm moving house. So this is a great time to take some photos. Will post some this weekend after I've trimmed the plants up a bit.

    Hi All,

As above, I thought I'd take the opportunity to get some shots of my tank before I start stripping it down for the move.

Won't worry about listing the non-apistogramma's but the apisto species in the tank are: (excuse the spelling if there's errors)
    - cacatuoide
    - trifasciata "gurope"
    - bitaeniata
    - baenschi "inka 50"
    - agassizii
    - juruensis (well sold as juruensis but the more they grow the more I doubt they are the real thing)
    - viejita
    - macmasteri (a couple of females, no males)
    - apistogrammoides pucallpaensis

They all get along really well. Will be setting up a fishroom at the new house. Then I can start breeding my favourites.

Some of the plants are a bit untidy / overgrown as I'm trying to grow them out so I can use the excess growth to start a new display tank.

    The whole tank:

    RHS of the tank:

Some close ups of some sections:

And managed to get a nice shot of my trifasciata and his girlfriend before my camera battery ran out:

Looks like you've got quite a decent collection of driftwood in there. Nice stuff.
    What's the tank capacity?

What kind of filtration have you got going on that? I'm planning on getting a 6x2x2 when I move aswell. The only upside of moving house I spose

    Rob,

I've got a sump underneath the tank. It's fairly large although I don't know the size for sure. I'd say it was 3 foot long.

here's what i call my mini set up , i built it 18mths ago
was enjoyable planning exercise though i was in a rush and put it somewhere that i shouldn't

you will notice it is ina glass conservatory, lots of light and temperature fluctuations
those considerations were part of the reason i wanted it large
it has 5 x 2 ft tanks end on and approx 6 feet along the bottom

hereit is as i was building the frame and loading tanks
it was then clad in polystryene to reduce heat and light issues

unfortunately this is the only one i have of it all with water in
