    My Discus Garden

Hello all! I am really enjoying this forum, and I have posted a couple of pics, but wanted to give some more. My Discus are not to the standards of most that I have seen here, but I wanted to share my little piece of nature with you guys across the world anyway But they're growing and I hope that some of them will become at least average to your standards They're about 9 months old.

There's more to keeping discus than just having the best!!

I think your fish are stunning. What's more impressive is the balance you've struck in the tank with the plants, their combination, the driftwood and the substrate.

Well done. How long has the tank been established. What sort of filtration are you using??

    Lovely tank, and beautiful fish.

Congratulations. You've done a wonderful job of raising them.
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

    Thanks everybody!!

I have been running this tank for about 7 months now. I don't use Co2, but I did use the home made repice, in the beggining.
My tank dimensions are: 100x48x40 and I use an Eheim Professional II 2026.
    Cheers.

Sure, it's an Echinodorus Angustifolius. It spreads runners throughout the tank. It's a great plant to cover a some area, and it's not very demanding either in terms of lighting or substracte.
