    Tape worm

yesterday I fed my discus some "Discus Monthly" for worming purposes. I normally do it every two/three weeks. Now I just noticed one has a HUGE (4 strings for about 40 cm!!!) tape worm dangling out.
What do you recommend at this stage?
Quarantine the fish? More Discus Monthly? Some other drug? Or should the first dose taken care of it?

    Any help appreciated!

John, what is the main ingredient in that product.

If you've been worming your fish each month, you shouldn't be seeing a tapeworm that large. Either the product you're using does not treat tapeworm, or it's not strong enough.

I think we need to know a bit more.
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P
