Paint for tanks
Does anyone know of a safe paint to use on the inside bottom of their tank. I'm asking because I cannot get to the outside bottom of this particular tank. Too heavy for me to turn over. It's 8x2x2. I'd appreciate hearing from anyone who has done this. Thanks.

I know fiberglass resin mixed with the powder is safe but I think most normal aquarium paints break down over a year or two

why do you want to paint the bottom of your tank??? do you have white foam under your tank? white foam under a tank is great for discus. it helps lighten and brighten their colour and helps them to see their food.
i wouldn't bother painting it if you have foam under it.

if its a grow out not planted tank foam is always best
if its a planted tank sand will do the job.
paint advise is not my forte, but i would like to know the answer as well

Yeah, I think you're right. It has foam under it so I'll just stick with that. Pity - I fancied pale blue.
