    RAM ID Please

    Hi Guys,

    seems these are easier to ID than discus but i still have no idea

    I have a pic here with two different rams in shot, i was told the big one is a bolivian butterfly and the small one is a german blue ram.

    can anyone confirm for me ?

    You're correct. The big one is Bolivian Butterfly (or Bolivian Ram) Microgeophagus altispinosa. The little one is Ram (German Ram means stock or bloodline from German bred fish, Blue Ram usually refers to locally bred ones) Microgeophagus ramirezi.
