How are you going to cycle the tank Nathan. Are you doing a fishless cycle, or will you be using fish to cycle the tank?

Melbourne water is just about perfect for discus keeping, and just needs a chlorine remover.
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

just dechlorinator then but when using fish make sure theyre clean so they dont introduce any parasites and you will have to do water changes of around 20% at least every day or two to keep the ammonia down otherwise they may die i know its a long wait but its worth it!!
