    tank size for Discus

    how many litres per discus or does it depend on the filter

    ~ 10 gallons / 40 litres per adult discus. High tanks are better, so get at least a 18" high one. In tank sponge filters, canister, hang-on-back or trickle filters are ok. Don't use under gravel filters. You can't over filter. Water changes also effect stocking levels.
