Reporting Messages

Hi All,

I think there should be a report topic, or message button .... or some form of spam security !!!

what prompts me to think this is the following two posts from pmemory

which in my mind are just spam !!!

what does everybody think ? is there anything we can do to stop this ?

Thanks for the heads up.

I run a check on profiles at least twice every day which removes any profile that has dubious web links, or is from a known spammer.

Other than that there is usually an Advisor on hand who can remove the posts in question (as has already been done).

Functions like 'Report a post' are good, but they can be an administrative nightmare. I have been on sites before where people would report a post because it was asking a question that may have been asked before, and having a list of 20-30 reported posts per day, for really no reason took a lot of time to verify each post.

If there is something of such a nature, it would be just as easy to put up a post in here like what has been done.

ok cool just thought i would pose the question, i must admit i thought that may have been an issue

When the next site update is done, I will look into a report function of some sort.
