Difference of appearance in 12 hours !!! Normal or Not ?

ok any ideas on this one, these are two pics of the same fish taken around 9 this morning and then just now around 9 this evening !!!

This one has never been this RED before !!! the only thing i have done is adjusted the temperatue a little 27 up to 30 and added 4 new fish.

is this sort of change in appearance normal

im not too up on discus but i know that alot of fish will change colour to indicate dominance or place in a group, maybe this fish is trying to show that he is the boss to your new fish?

Very normal. And you have a lot of very pretty fish there. Your red fish will deepen in colour as he grows older too.
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

Thanks i think they are great

yeah its colour has been getting visibly better in the last few days i am just astonished that you can see such a change so quickly. I guess its a testament to more regular water changes and more frozen live foods in the diet
