    Fluval 304 output water-flow problems

    Good day!
I got a fluval running for nearly a year, i suspect there is somthing wrong with my filter. I was looking at the nozzle where the water output....somtime i can tell it's slow and sometime is fast (water flow).
How long before i need to replace to foam screen frame???
Or is there something really wrong with my filter???
I only got one filter and if i take it back to the store for repair.....how on earth is my fish going to cope for at least several few as a minimum???

you should not need to replace the foam, it may just need a good clean

get some aged water out of your tank, and give everthing a clean in this

this should improve your flow rate

    Hi,

I agree with Ryan, i do what he suggests with my fluval and i have no probs at all and mine has been going fine now for 6 months.Yes and definitely always use tank water to clean as to maintain the bacteria in your filter.
