    Hi everyone

Just wondering what level of copper in our tap water would be regarded as being lethal in the long run for discus?

    Thanks

    Very good question!
I think copper poisoning is more lethal in the short term than the long term though..

Would love to hear from someone that has the answer!

Your copper pipes if you are using cold water should not deterierate and therefor if they were old or new the copper content would be the same. Therefor i wouldnt worry about it unless you have high salt content.

If you are using hot water the copper could deterierate and I would stop using this supply.

If you think you have an issue you could also use a RO unit to remove the copper.

I dont know the lethal amount of copper content in water in regards to discus.
