Amano shrimps or any other shrimps ??
HI there guys this is my first post, I am interested in what you guys think about discus sharing their tank with any small shrimp like amano shrimp or any other algae eating shrimp. Cheers. ppl.

This is what your discus would say:
"Yuuuuuum...."
It's not an option. Shrimps make great treats for discus.... albeit in your case, expensive treats.

Hello aprofromindia and welcome to the forum. We're pleased to have another international member joining us.
As Kev said. Your discus will make a meal of your shrimp in a very short time. Some of the smaller catfish, like bristlenose catfish will help to keep your tank free of algae, so that might be a better alternative.

Hey guys I really appreciate your efforts, but still nontheless I got some amano's and they are doing fine, mind you I have a moderately planted setup. Cheers.
