    Best air pump / blower

    Hi all

i'm moving house over the next couple of weeks & will be moving all my tanks into their own room (well sea container actually) & am looking at putting them all onto air driven filters.

Here is what I currently have tank wise - all either 18" or 24" deep & wide
    5 x 4ft tanks
    3 x 3ft tanks
    12 x 2ft tanks

I also be adding to this as over time - I figure I've got room to confortably add about another 30ft of tanks over time.

Just looking for advise on what people recommend as to good brands / flow rate required etc.

    Thanks in advance

    Dave

I use the smaller 35lt pump and I am very impressed.

The 70lt pump should do 20+ tanks but if not just get 2 pumps.
You only live once but if you do it right once is all you need.

    Excellent pumps those Atmans.

Dave you will be suprised that you will not need a massive airpump to do those tanks!

As Oscar said a 70LPM airpump will be more than enough!

    Pump

I think that due you have only 20 tanks you can use a Diafragm pum, those are very hi-power and deliver good air pressure... and the most important are very economic and quitely...There are several models even for expansions purpouses..
But if you are thinking expand in the future for much more tanks, in that case would be ok 1/8 HP blower
