Blender or Mincer for beefheart.

Hi Guys

I want to make some beefheart mixture as I believe it's better value and quality than the bought beefheart.
My question is what's better, using a mincer or blender for mincing up the beefheart and prawns etc.

A mincer, i used the blender but you can never seem to get it fine enough and you end up with big chunks of carrot or spinach which ever is the case.
