    None.....Aged tap water..
No need for me too use RO here because my water is very soft already and there is no nitrates or phosphates.

Tap water aged for 1-2 days... (200L Barrel)

Treated with Water Ager ACN, heated to 28c with a large air stone oxygenating the water.

Tapwater, dechlored, then added, NOT aged at all. pH 7.8 KH5 GH11.

Lately the KH has been 3, and the GH about 9......pH unchanged.....lucky me!

While I dont have Discus (yet), I use rain water in all of my fish tanks. Why you say? Because we dont have town water at Greenbank, only tank water.

i was just curious wether people go all out and use R.O water or do most just use tap or rain water. I've been tempted recently to get an R.O kit due to our very poor tap water at the moment.

If you think Australian water is poor for discus you would hate living in the states, RO is almost a must there. Here its aint too bad, I was thinking of getting one too but then i thought of how much water i was using each week and decided not too as id have to replce the cartridge too often. But that was also because i was looking at a cheaper model i think it was about $120 and the catridge only lasted something like 5,000 ltrs, which sounds alot but i probably use 500ltrs a week.
