How can there be 255 or something like that registered users online at one time...the most i see is maybe 30 at one time.... Was this a planned event or something???

it sometime happens when techincal things are changed
it has happened before, its as if the counter is reset but the orignal figures stay put

Quite often that happens when there is maybe 20-30 users online, then add to that the Googlebot, MSNbot and YahooBots cataloging all our content, each entry counts as one user.
