wierd roots on bak of jungle fern

hey
ive had some jungle ferns for couple weeks and they have started to grow roots on the back of thier leaves
looks like its starts off with a lil green bulge then in grows roots
is this there way of reproducing or something strange?

This is how the plant spreads - give it another couple of weeks & a new plant will form on the leaf

Yep this is how plant spreads. Once the roots grow longer you can just cut them and plant the new leaf by itself for faster growth and the "mother" will reproduce again.
