    Different Coloured Spawned Eggs

Well it looks like my second pair of Red Pearl Pigeon Discus just spawned this evening. I'm not too sure if this is normal but some of the eggs are clear and some are orange. Is this normal or do I have a pair of females that just spawned together.

So much to learn and so little time.

Very normal for some of the eggs to be a different colour. Ideally we want them to darken over the next 48 hours, because that means the eggs are fertile, and you are seeing the wriggler develop in the egg.

Non-fertile eggs will become a solid white and are usually picked off by the parents.
