Can different Apistogramma species be kept in the same tank?

I originally have 1 male Ap. Agassizii in my community tank and its been doing fine with all the Blue Rams, Bolivian rams and jewel cichlids.
but recently i just added 2 other male Ap. C???. Sorry forgot its name. And my Ap. Agassizii is constantly hiding. I dont see them fighting or doing anything harmful to each other.

I have noticed that the new Apistos are hovering around alot as if they are marking new territory. And whenever they see the Agassizii, they show off to each other like a standoff. Flashing colours and finage at each other.

I'm just worried that this ganging up 2 on 1 is gonna cause stress on my Agassizii.

Should i remove him into solitary confinement?
    Or am i just paranoid?

    Cheers,
    Eric

How big is the tank? There's a fair few different fish in there.... Red Jewel being the first one that I'd be giving funny looks to.
