    filtering peat

    hello was just wondering if iput an internal cannister filter in my water storage cantainer and filled it with peat would that be better for my fish. cheers matt.

    it is a good idea but a whole filter filled with peat will make the water VERY soft. is there a huge need for peat?

    you shouldn't need to go to that extreme

    i would buy another tank and use the canister on that LOL

    just a stocking with some peat in it should be good
