    feeling very confused

    hi there have 9 discus and have treated with anti parasite remedy.active constitinet trichloranfon 20mg/tab (an anticholine sterase compound)as two were dashing fast through tank and hitting objects and one had white poo.all the white poo have gone and now one is still darting through tank every once in a while it did it on five occasions yesterdayit just goes so fast through tank ramming into objects and then it settles down the other one is back to normal.does anyone have any suggestions as it would be helpful .there is no signs of stress on any of them all eating and have great colours thanks

    I think that sometimes, either the anti parasite medication or the parasites themselves cause an irritation to the discus, and they 'swim fast' in order to get away from the irritation.

    Continue with your water changes, and keep the tank lights off till the fish settle down, in a few days or so. A little carbon in your filter will also remove the last of the medication. Use for a week, then throw the carbon away.
