    Discus cleaning an area

Well it looks like the suspected pair have gone to the next stage, they are starting to clean a piece of wood and are chasing away the other discus. So unless they are 2 females, looks like we may have a spawning sometime. Anyone got a rough guide to how long it will be before they spawn.

If they're both cleaning it shouldnt be to long Ive had one thats been shimmering to another and its been cleaning a spot now for 2 months stupid thing I wonder how long its going to take before it realizes the other one doesnt have the same feelings.

well they are both shivering to each other and both chasing off the other fish. 1 is doing most if the cleaning but the other 1 is helping aswell.

my pair spawned tonite so here are a few things i thought i would mention about their behavior:

the female did most cleaning of the cone (i can never tell when the male is being defensive or just basking for food? he is a guts)

the male helped clean but only a little

as they where cleaning their tubes dropped (going to spawn very soon)

    cleaned for about 2 hours

    had some practise runs

    then got on with it
