    Glazed ceramic pots O.K?

I've stumbled upon some glazed ceramic pots which both look good and are the right shape for breeding cones.
Q: Is it O.K. to put glazed pots in the aquarium?
Q: Are the discus likely to lay on glazed pots, or will I have to find unglazed teraccota?

    Hi Bill,

It will be safe to use the glazed pots but just give them a good srubb! i make up like a salt slurry, and give them a good 5 mintes scrubbing on each pot then rinse well with warm water.

Discus will lay eggs on anything when they ready to spawn!

    HTH,

    Ben

Those pots sound ideal, and perfectly safe.

As Ben said, just give them a good scrub

I would soak them in a bucket after scrub. Leave them overnight. Just to make sure its clean for the fish

If they can lay eggs on the glass sides of the tank, I guess the glazed pots should work just as well. :P
