    marineland biowheel 60 pro

    Anyone have any experience with a bio wheel? Thinking of trying one after my fluval 304.

    My mom has one in her african cichlid tank, her water is always crystal clear and everyone grows and thrives like weeds.

    I dont know if that says much, but thats my experience with them!

    The bio wheel provides a home for more nitrifying bacteria. They live in the pleated folds of the wheel, which is constantly being flushed with water, while still allowing the bacteria exposure to the oxygen that they need to survive.

    I haven't had experience with that particular brand, but I believe they all do a good job.
