i have gill flukes
can someone tell me what i should do while i adminster the melafix for gill flukes(dont have any other med yet) eg food lights temp salt etc.
i what should i treat it with and how much does it cost and how much do i use where do i get it frometc.

Wow Darth, sorry I must have missed this one yesterday. I was only online for a short time.
Okay, bulging eye or pop eye, is caused by a bacterial infection and needs to be treated with an antibiotic. I would start with Tetracycline which you can buy from your fish shop. The last lot I got was in a powder form, and the bottle cost me $16.
No need to add salt, and your lights will be okay. Leave your temp at around 28 to 30 degrees.
Try to treat in a hospital tank, because it will destroy all the good bacteria in your filter.

No, sorry mate. Melafix is good for regrowing torn fins, but not good against bacterial infections. You really need an antibiotic.
