It wasnt actually Kev who wrote that msg, he is at Aquarama.
.doc files can only be attached to select areas of the site for security reasons.

In relation to PM's it is the same for all users...
Allowed Extension Groups and their Sizes
Documents -> Maximum Upload Size: 128 KB
ai doc dot pdf ppt ps xls
Images -> Maximum Upload Size: 128 KB
gif jpeg jpg png tga tif
http://www.discusforums.com/forum/attach_rules.php?f=-1
down the track we will probably change this, to images only, as it reduces the risk of nasties getting in.

Mine is only 4 kB, and it keeps saying
" Sorry, but the maximum filesize for all Attachments in your Private Message Folder has been reached. Please delete some of your received/sent Attachments. "
I believe that I don't have any attachment letf in my mail box.
Thanks

That includes all images you have posted, attachments that are in sent & recieved PM's etc
I would be guessing you are at the max of your limit.
I will look into it more tonight and try to increase your attachment space (cant do it now, have to go to work)

it should be ok now... so long as the file format is compliant
(I have increased your attachment quota)
