hmm....put in some water, adjust the pH and temp.
I use sponge filter for breeding tank, and i put clay cone in the middle. Lighting is just a small light that i never turn off when pair already spawning. Water changes every day. Feed fry with baby brine shrimp
Dont forget to let the tank mature 1st before adding any fish.

is that a cannister filter type ?
just make sure that your wrap the intake with a wool filter or sponge to prevent fry being sucked in.
Also, I personally having trouble breeding marlboro red, as the parents wont turn darker. So my advice is, remove and try not to use any dark item. When selecting sponge filter, try not to get black.
