if you have to treat your tank for hole inthe head symptoms then does the treatment metronidazole kill the exsisting bacteria in your tank if so how do you keep your tank in good shape and full of good bacteria. thanks

Metro will not affect the good bacteria in your filtration.

ok thanks next question when you put metro in wait 12 hurs do a 30% water change do you just put in enough metro to cover tht 30% you took out or do you do the whole tank again. sorry it might be a stupid question but im new at this.it wont harm my fish will it, not sure at what to do spoke to ladyred yesterday onphone and gave symptoms, but i just wont to be 100% sure on it had a enough trouble with fish as it is so just want things to be right. cool thanks

You add the full amount of metro again as it only really lasts in the water about 8 hrs always make sure you have your lights off as well.
