    Feeding problem

Have 2 discus who have settled in okay into a community type tank, have had a problem trying to get the food to them though as all the other fish beat them to it. I need a method a trick or a mechanism that can help me with this as I want my Discus to be nice and "fat" (in a healthy way). My Discus are about 9 - 11cm. Frustrated

PS at the moment I use frozen blood worms, Sera Discus food (find that it sinks to fast) freeze dried tubifex (they don't sink at all) they are tring Tetra flake but spit it out.....
Always leave room to be surprised

Common problem with discus in a community tank. They are shy feeders, and tend to hang back.

Two ways to do it, flood the tank with food and be prepared to syphon excess, or feed in two places at the one time, i.e. both ends of the tank.

Mine don't eat flake, prefering Tetra Colour Bits or Breeders Premium discus food.
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P

Try putting your discus in a different tank, if you have one to spare.
