    Help Sick Discus this morning

I got up to feed my discus this morning and I couldn't find him, when I did he was on his side under a leaf, I thought he was dead my a noticed he was breathing a little, he's darkened to almost black and he won't eat, his fins are all close to his body and he's barely breathing, I've looked up these symptoms but can't find out what's wrong. Help does anyone here know what I should do.

Can you give me some more information on your tank. How long it has been set up, other tank inhabitants, water change routine, water parameters, if you use co2 or ferts for your plants, do the other fish look normal.

Is the fish showing any other symptoms other than going dark. Has this just happened overnight or has the fish been off his food for a few days.

First thing I want you to do, is a 50% water change with warm dechlorinated water.

A lot of issues can be traced back to water quality, especially if they show up quickly.
Thirty-five years keeping and breeding discus, and I'm still learning :P
