Very similar fish, san merah tend too be a bit darker from my experience.
Wont create anything drastic with the fry as the are both solid strains...

Yes, that's a nice quality rose red. My breeding female. Not the best pic, bit wishy washy, but you get an idea of the colour. She goes almost black when she has fry on her back.
